About
Victoria Brooks is a multi-disciplinary artist, hailing from New York City.
Now based in Paris, Brooks works as an intern at Three Star Books, assisting the production of small-batch artist books made in collaboration with renowned contemporary artists such as John Armleder, BlackMass Publishing, and Gerard & Kelly.
A constant creator from an early age, Brooks is drawn to the spontaneity of photography as a meditative practice, and the physicality of painting as a portal for memory.
Captivated by the ephemeral intricacies of flowers, Brooks spent the pandemic of 2020 in her grandmother's garden, experimenting with resin and teaching herself to make jewelry, preserving nature as timeless heirlooms.
As a teenager, Brooks created Generation Zine. What began as a personal passion project, seeking to celebrate the talents of her peers, GenZine grew into a global network of hundreds of Gen Z creatives.
Brooks ultimately produced five issues over the course of two years (2019-2020), tackling themes ranging from Activism, to Youth Culture, to COVID-19.
